Shopping List - Week 2

This isn't a grocery deal, but I'm kind of proud of this awesome find so I'm posting it anyways!

This Tag Jr. Set is normally $39.99. It was marked down to $19.98 at Target. I had a $10.00 of Tag Game System Target coupon and $5.00 off coupon from Leapfrog. Total - $4.98!

Did you know you can combine Target coupons with manufacturer coupons? You can find some great deals this way!

Now onto the groceries......

I put all my groceries away before I remembered about taking a picture. Sorry!

Here's what I got:

$8.24 - Tag Jr. Dora the Explorer Book (regularly $10.99)
$1.19 - Zone Perfect Bar - Minus $1.19 (had a free bar coupon from Facebook)
$1.88 - 2 Carmex Lip Balms - Minus $1.10 in coupons - Total $.78 for 2
$3.39 - Maxwell House International Delights Instant Coffee - Minus $.75 in coupons Total $2.64
$.56 - 2.23 lbs of Sweet Potatoes
$21.94 - 18lb Tom Turkey - Minus $16.00 store promotion - Total $5.94
$1.78 - 2 bags Meijer brand frozen vegetables
$.99 - Cook Whip Free
$3.98 - 2 4 packs of Yoplait Delights - Minus $2.00 in coupons - Total $1.98 for 2
$2.44 - Sara Lee Cheesecake - Minus $.75 coupon - Total - $1.69
$3.34 - 2 Skippy Peanut Butter - Minus $1.00 Mealbox Coupon and $1.60 in coupons - Total $.74 for 2 or $.37 each!
$2.50 - 2 Phillsbury Frosting - Minus $1.60 in coupons- Total $1.40 for 2
$5.00 - 2 Crunchmaster Gluten Free Crackers - Minus $2.00 in coupons - Total $3.00 for 2
$1.59 - Parsley Plant

Total - $32.80
The Dora Tag Jr. Book and the Cheesecake are except (the cheesecake is for when we're having company over next time).

So total for the grocery budget- $22.87 - $17.13 remaining.

Not my best trip, but I did get a big turkey and that should last several meals. I'm a little concerned that the $17.13 isn't going to last the rest of the week though. I still need more meat and vegetables. We could probably eat the turkey all week, but I think we would all be sick of leftovers by then. Plus we're getting a 25lb or so turkey from my husbands work next week. I'm hoping to put a lot in the freezer.

See any good deals? Post them here!
